Western Air Flight Academy . Fly the Rockies

Western Air Flight Academy is approved by the Colorado state approving agency to offer veteran benefits through the Montgomery GI Bill.

Learn to fly with the premier flight-training center in Colorado. Conveniently located at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan (Metro) Airport in Broomfield. We offer a top quality training experience in a safe and welcoming environment.

What makes us so special? First, we are one of the few area training centers to qualify as a 14 CFR part 141 flight school. We have three part 141 approved courses: PRIVATE PILOT AIRPLANE, COMMERCIAL PILOT AIRPLANE and INSTRUMENT RATING AIRPLANE. This FAA certified program clearly outlines the scope and sequence of your flight training. Due to the more structured curriculums, you can move more quickly through all of your ratings and become a career pilot, if that is your goal. Ask about our second to none MOUNTAIN FLIGHT TRAINING COURSE.
